I just finished spending some time on your web site. If only I had known what you had to offer in the way of sculling classes . . . the variety of boats available to try . . . I could have spent my rowing instruction $$$s for an airline ticket to see you.
This is what I have endured:
1. An instructor who had no lesson plan (they don't come any more "random" than this gal). The only "instruction" she gave me was to keep my arms straight. For this I paid $300.
2. Equipment that was not set up for me, no adjustment for anything--foot stretchers, oars, anything.
4. Water conditions so rough, other clubs on Lake Union don't have classes scheduled (they consider it too dangerous--gravel barges, yachts, power boats, sail boats, jet skis, etc.). Didn't know this until after the fact.
5. To try MAAS, Alden & Water Jogger I had to go to 3 different cities in the Washington/British Columbia area. I never did get to try a Little River Marine shell--they don't have any out here (and probably never will!).
. . . Sigh, if only I had known . . .

I must tell you, your quick training at Eagle Lake when I picked up the Maas has really paid off. When I used to launch at the Marist Collage / Pough Rowing Club, several times I received a complement on how well the boat moved thru the water. "You have been extraordinary in your efforts to meet every need we might have on our rowing cruise in the Keys. Not only was our Guideboat delivered exactly as we had hoped but we learned to love that boat while living in it for 18 straight days! While none conflicted with each other's instruction, each had their own emphasis which really helped. Pete/Karen, I don't often write letters but you deserve one. First, thanks for the rowing lesson at your lake. I am very glad that you convinced me to take the lesson and the "try before you buy" experience! Your lesson was excellent and left nothing unclear or incomplete. I now have a stroke that is smoother, quieter and faster than my new rowing partners who have more experience than me! I have bought an abundance of gear in my life but never have I been satisfied with trying everything I was interested in, let alone in one place at one time, until this boat purchase.
